1. Selling Fees

Welcome to the Javelined Selling Fees page. On our marketplace, we apply two main types of fees for sellers:

• Insertion Fee: Charged when you create a listing for your product on the marketplace.
• Final Value Fee: Charged when your item sells, calculated as a percentage of the total sale price.

The amount we charge depends on the item's price, the category you select for your listing, any optional listing upgrades you choose, and your seller performance.
When creating a seller account, you will provide a credit card number and a bank account. Javelined will automatically deduct fees from your credit card and deposit sales proceeds into your bank account after any applicable taxes and processing fees.

Sellers can choose from different selling plans:

• Individual Plan: Charged per item sold, suitable for sellers with fewer than 200 items per month.
• Business Plan: Fixed monthly fee, suitable for advanced sellers, high-volume sales, or those using professional selling tools.

2. Selling Plans

We offer two types of plans:

You can switch or cancel your plan anytime.

At Javelined, we charge a Final Value Fee when your item sells. This fee covers platform usage and does not include third-party payment processing fees.
The fee is calculated as a percentage of the total sale amount, plus a per order fee:

• Orders €10 or less: per order fee €0.30
• Orders over €10: per order fee €0.40

The total amount of the sale includes the item price, any handling charges, sales tax, and any other applicable fees. Note: Javelined does not provide shipping services for sellers. Sellers are responsible for delivering their own products to buyers.

An order is defined as all items purchased by the same buyer at checkout with the same shipping method.

If you need to refund the buyer or cancel the sale, you may be eligible for fee credits according to our Refund Policy.

Exceptions for Calculating Final Value Fees

• Sellers are fully responsible for shipping; any fees related to shipping are not included in the final value fee.
• Shipping options offered to buyers (standard, express, or international) do not affect the final value fee, which is calculated on the item price and applicable platform charges only.
• Any shipping labels, carriers, or logistics arrangements are handled by the seller directly.

This ensures that all sellers, whether using the Individual or Business Plan, are charged fairly and transparently, with fees automatically deducted according to your selected plan. Remember: all shipping responsibilities remain with the seller.

3. Payments & Payouts

Sellers must provide a credit card and bank account. Fees are deducted from the credit card, and net revenue is deposited into your bank account according to store policies.

Payouts are processed after the return period expires (14 days in EU) and any applicable fees are deducted.

4. Commission Fees

Standard commission: 10% of the sale price per product. Includes product price paid by buyer, excluding VAT and payment gateway fees.

All fees are in EUR (€). VAT and local taxes may apply depending on seller and buyer location.

Payment providers may charge additional conversion fees.

10. Basic Fees for Most Categories – Javelined

Below is an overview of the basic selling fees for most product categories on Javelined. This table includes the insertion fee and final value fee applied to each sale. Sellers retain full responsibility for shipping and delivery of their items.

Notes:

• Starting price refers to auction start price or Buy It Now price, excluding shipping, handling, taxes, or other fees.
• Classified Ads and Real Estate listings have specific insertion fees; check our Real Estate Fee Policy for details.
• All shipping responsibilities remain with the seller; Javelined does not handle delivery.

Fees for Selling Vehicles on Javelined Motors

The fees for selling vehicles on Javelined Motors are different from fees for other product categories. The amount you pay depends on your vehicle's listing price. Motors vehicle listings include Cars & Trucks, Motorcycles, Powersports, Boats, and Other Vehicles & Trailers.

Pricing for Vehicle Listings

When you list a vehicle, you pay an all-inclusive fee. No final value fee is charged when your vehicle sells. Each package includes a set of features to maximize visibility and buyer trust.

Deposit Processing Fee

If your vehicle listing requires a deposit, a 2.8% deposit processing fee is deducted from the deposit before payout. This applies once the buyer pays the deposit during checkout.

Deposits paid by buyers with a registered address outside the EU may also be subject to an International fee. Sellers are responsible for any shipping and delivery arrangements.

Subscriptions for Vehicle Dealers

Professional vehicle dealers can subscribe to monthly packages to include AutoCheck reports in each listing. Listing fees are charged at the time of listing or relisting (if auto-relist is enabled) and are non-refundable. Fees are based on the terms in effect when the listing goes live.

Other Terms and Conditions

• Fees apply to listings on Javelined Motors. International sites may have different fees.
• All fees are in Euros (€).
• Listings may take up to 24 hours to appear in search results.
• Sellers do not purchase exclusive rights to webpages; third-party ads or listings may appear.
• Local taxes (VAT, GST, excise, or similar) may apply depending on your country of residence.

11. Fees for Real Estate Listings

Fees for Real Estate listings include an insertion fee, a notice fee, and fees for any optional listing upgrades you choose. Listings can be auction-style, fixed price, or in the Classified Ad format. Please review our Real Estate Policy for full details.

Land, Manufactured, and Timeshare Homes

Commercial, Residential, and Other Real Estate

Notice Fee Exceptions: You won’t be charged a notice fee if:

• Your listing has no bids
• No bids meet your reserve price, if you added one
• Your listing is in the Classified Ad format

Otherwise, notice fees apply whether or not the sale is completed.

Optional Listing Upgrades

International Visibility Fees

Good 'Til Cancelled Notes: If your listings renew automatically, insertion and optional upgrade fees are charged each renewal. Not all optional upgrades are available on all tools or displayed across all platforms.

12. Additional Final Value Fees & Policy on Buying/Selling Outside Platform

You may be charged additional final value fees if you violate our policy of offering to buy or sell outside the Javelined platform, or if you do not meet our performance expectations.

Buying or Selling Outside the Platform

If you offer or reference your contact information to a buyer, or ask a buyer for their contact information in the context of completing a transaction outside of Javelined, you will be charged an additional final value fee based on the total amount of the sale—even if the item does not sell.

• Auction-style listings: Total amount is highest of auction start price, Buy It Now price, reserve price, or agreed price between buyer and seller.
• Fixed price listings: Total amount is the fixed price or the agreed price between buyer and seller, whichever is higher.

Sellers Not Meeting Performance Expectations

• If your account is evaluated as Below Standard, you will be charged an additional 6% on the final value fees for sales in the following month. This does not apply to Above Standard or Top-rated sellers.
• If your rate of "Item not as described" return requests is Very High in one or more categories, an additional 5% on the final value fees will be applied for those categories in the following month.

All additional fees are calculated as a percentage of the total sale amount. Listings subject to additional fees will be clearly indicated on your Seller Dashboard.

Note: If your account is Below Standard and rated Very High for "Item not as described," only the Below Standard fee applies.

Policy on Offering to Buy or Sell Outside Javelined

Offering to buy or sell outside Javelined is strictly prohibited. Both buyers and sellers must not share contact information prior to completing a transaction on our platform.

Prohibited Actions:

• Attempt to complete or facilitate a transaction outside Javelined.
• Share or request direct contact information, including: Name, Address, Phone, Email, Social Media ID, Instant Messenger ID, External URLs, Payment or Bank Details.
• Refer to or promote external websites to complete sales outside Javelined.
• List an item and link to additional items for sale outside Javelined.
• Use contact information from a Javelined transaction to bypass the platform.

Recommended Actions for Buyers and Sellers:

• Complete purchases on Javelined to be covered by protection programs and guarantees.
• Use the platform’s checkout system and official messaging features.
• Use Private Offers or platform negotiation tools for custom offers.
• Follow the platform policy, User Agreement, applicable laws, and respect third-party rights.

Consequences:

Violating this policy may result in the following actions: Removing listings, issuing warnings, restricting activity, or account suspension. All reported attempts to transact outside the platform should be reported immediately through the platform’s reporting system.

Why this Policy Exists

Offers to buy or sell outside Javelined pose a fraud risk to both buyers and sellers. Transactions outside the platform are not eligible for protection programs or the Money Back Guarantee. The platform ensures safe and reliable transactions while connecting buyers with sellers effectively.

13. Dispute, International & Currency Conversion Fees

Dispute Fee

If you are found responsible for a disputed transaction (e.g., chargeback), Javelined charges a €20.00 dispute fee per dispute. This fee does not include any applicable taxes.

International Fee

For sellers registered in the US who offer international shipping, no international fee is applied for eligible listings. Otherwise, an international fee applies in the following cases:

• The delivery address provided by the buyer is outside the US.
• The buyer’s registered address is outside the US, regardless of the delivery address.

This fee is calculated as 1.65% of the total sale amount and is automatically deducted from your sales.

Sellers outside the US should refer to the fees applicable in their country or region.

Seller Currency Conversion Charge

When listing or selling on international Javelined platforms, your funds may be converted to a different currency to process fees or payouts.

• If you are in the US and list on Javelined.de, your fees (e.g., insertion or optional listing upgrades) may be converted from USD to EUR using the platform's exchange rate at the time of listing.
• When the sale completes, your payout may be converted back from EUR to USD using the transaction exchange rate applicable at that time.

The transaction exchange rate consists of a base rate plus a 3% conversion charge (for US-registered sellers), which is retained by Javelined. The base rate reflects wholesale currency rates on the day of conversion, or the previous business day. Rates may also reflect government-mandated rates if applicable.

Non-US registered sellers should refer to the currency conversion charge applicable in their region.

Examples of Fee Calculations

Auction-style Listing Example

Suppose you list an item at a starting price of €100 in an auction-style format. After the auction ends, the item sells for €150.
Calculation of fees:

• Insertion Fee: €0.35 (after 250 free listings)
• Final Value Fee: 10% of €150 = €15
• Total fees charged: €15.35

The seller receives €134.65 from the sale after fees.

Fixed Price Listing Example

You list an item at €200 with a fixed price format. It sells at that price.
Calculation of fees:

• Insertion Fee: €0.35 (after 250 free listings)
• Final Value Fee: 10% of €200 = €20
• Total fees charged: €20.35

The seller receives €179.65 from the sale after fees.

Other Terms and Conditions

• If you use additional services, such as buying and printing shipping labels or participating in advertising programs, additional fees may apply.
• All fees are in euros (€) and may vary depending on the platform and country.
• Sellers may be invoiced under specific circumstances, including early termination of auction-style listings.
• Fees do not grant exclusive rights to pages or listings; Javelined may display third-party advertisements or listings from other sellers.
• Applicable local taxes (VAT, GST, excise) may apply based on your country. Fees on your invoice reflect these charges.
