1. General Payments Terms

These Payments Terms of Use (“Payments Terms”) set out the terms under which Javelined provides payment-related services (“Payment Services”) in connection with your use of the platform and services available at Javelined .

Your use of the Javelined platform and services will continue to be governed by the applicable User Agreement . Capitalized terms used, but not defined in these Payments Terms shall have the same meaning as set forth in the User Agreement.

The applicable User Agreement, related Javelined policies, or other agreements between you and Javelined (for example, billing or service agreements) may include provisions regarding your use of the platform that may differ from these Payments Terms. You understand and agree that, with respect to Payment Services, these Payments Terms shall prevail over any conflicting provisions.

By accessing or using the Payment Services, you agree to comply with these Payments Terms.

These Payments Terms are between you and Javelined, a company registered in Barnstorf, Niedersachsen, Germany (49406) (company registration details and VAT number, if applicable).

Javelined provides Payment Services in cooperation with licensed third-party payment providers, including, but not limited to, providers such as Stripe, PayPal, and other global payment partners. Depending on your location and the nature of your transactions, payment processing services may be provided by one or more of these providers.

If you engage in international transactions, you acknowledge that payment processing may involve different financial institutions, partners, or payment entities depending on the region, applicable laws, and selected payment methods.

All Payment Services are subject to applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, consumer protection laws, and data protection laws in relevant jurisdictions.

2. About Payments on Javelined

You agree to authorize Javelined to receive, process, and manage payments on your behalf in connection with your use of the platform. These services are referred to as “Payment Services” and may include payment collection, processing, holding, and payout management.

Javelined operates as a multi-vendor marketplace. In this context, payments made by buyers are first received and held by Javelined or its authorized payment partners, and are only released to the seller after the successful completion of the transaction, including delivery and any applicable return or dispute period.

Buyers may pay for items using a variety of payment methods, depending on availability and region, including:

- Credit and debit cards (including Visa and Mastercard)
- PayPal
- Bank transfers (where available)
- Digital wallets and other supported payment solutions
- “Buy Now, Pay Later” or installment-based payment methods (where available)

Javelined reserves the right to modify, add, or remove available payment methods at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

The contract for the purchase of goods or services is concluded directly between the buyer and the seller. Javelined acts as an intermediary platform facilitating the transaction and managing the associated payment flow.

Once a payment transaction is completed, you will receive a notification confirming the transaction. Funds will be processed and held in accordance with our Payout & Holding Policy .

You can access information related to your transactions, including payment status, payouts, and transaction history, through your account dashboard on Javelined .

If a payment is made in error, or if funds are received that you are not entitled to, Javelined reserves the right to recover such amounts, including by deducting them from future payouts or charging your account.

3. International Sales

Javelined operates globally and enables sellers to offer products and services to buyers across multiple regions, including Europe, the United States, Asia, the Middle East, and other international markets.

Payment Services for international transactions may involve one or more third-party payment providers, financial institutions, or banking partners, depending on the location of the buyer, seller, and the selected payment method.

All payments are processed through secure and licensed payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, and other authorized providers. These providers may handle currency conversion, payment authorization, and settlement processes in accordance with their own terms and applicable regulations.

Your payout currency will generally depend on your country of residence, your selected payout account, and the supported currencies provided by our payment partners. Javelined may determine or allow you to select your preferred payout currency where applicable.

Where a transaction is completed in a currency different from your payout currency, the funds may be converted prior to disbursement using applicable exchange rates and may be subject to currency conversion fees imposed by payment providers or financial institutions.

You acknowledge that additional fees, including bank charges, international transfer fees, or currency conversion costs, may apply depending on your financial institution and location. Javelined is not responsible for such external fees.

Javelined reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or modify Payment Services in certain countries or regions in order to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or risk management requirements.

4. Seller Payment Fees

The fees and expenses which we charge in relation to your use of Payment Services are, unless otherwise communicated to you, set forth in the applicable fee page available on Javelined (“Fee Page”). Such fees may vary depending on your country of residence, your business status, and the type of services you use.

Such fees and expenses are subject to change, as set forth in the applicable User Agreement . We may update our seller fees from time to time in accordance with applicable laws and our internal policies.

Fees may differ depending on whether you are an individual seller, business seller, or professional seller, and may also vary depending on your location, including but not limited to:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • United States
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • China
  • France
  • Germany
  • Hong Kong
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Spain
  • Switzerland
  • Taiwan
  • United Kingdom
  • Other countries and regions

In some circumstances, you might be eligible for credits, discounts, or adjustments of certain fees you paid, as described in the applicable fee policies or promotional terms.

5. Seller Onboarding

In order to use our Payment Services, you must register for an account and accept these Payments Terms of Use. Your submission of a registration application constitutes your offer to enter into this agreement. If your onboarding is not immediately confirmed, you will receive notification once your information has been reviewed and approved.

To use Payment Services, you must:

Link a financial account so that you may receive settlements of proceeds (“Linked Financial Account”). Depending on your country of residence, this may be a bank account or another supported financial instrument approved by Javelined or its payment partners. We may require that your Linked Financial Account be located in your country of residence or in a supported region. If we are unable to process charges or recover owed amounts from your Linked Financial Account, we may require you to provide an alternative payment method and may withhold payouts until such information is provided.

Payouts will be made to your Linked Financial Account subject to (i) successful verification of your account and (ii) completion of our security, compliance, and risk assessments, including obligations related to anti-money laundering and fraud prevention. This process may take several days or longer if additional verification is required.

You may change your Linked Financial Account as permitted by Javelined. By adding a Linked Financial Account, you represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner of, or have the legal right to use, such account. In certain cases, we may allow payouts to accounts controlled by authorized representatives, provided that you confirm their authority to receive funds on your behalf.

Provide us with all information we may require, including for the purposes of identity verification, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, fraud prevention, and payment processing. This information may include, without limitation:

  • Full name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Date of birth
  • Tax identification number (if applicable)
  • Bank account details
  • Government-issued identification

If you are operating as a business, you may also be required to provide additional information such as your business name, legal structure, registration details, tax information, and information about owners, directors, or authorized representatives.

You understand that we may be unable to process payments or issue payouts if you do not provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

You must maintain the accuracy of all information provided and promptly update any changes. We may periodically verify or update your information based on data received from payment providers, financial institutions, or third-party verification services.

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party terms in connection with your use of the platform. You will not use Payment Services for prohibited activities, including but not limited to unlawful transactions or restricted goods and services.

You acknowledge that third-party providers (such as banks, payment processors, and card networks) may impose their own terms and conditions, including fees, restrictions, and processing rules. Javelined is not responsible for any such third-party fees, delays, or actions.

You authorize Javelined and its partners to verify the information you provide, including by contacting financial institutions, verifying your identity, or using third-party data sources. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Payment Services if we are unable to verify your information or if we detect risks or irregularities.

Javelined is not responsible for any losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

6. Shipping

When you receive notice that a buyer has completed a payment for an item through the Payment Services, you must ship or otherwise deliver the item in accordance with the agreed shipping method, delivery timeframe, and any applicable terms specified in your listing or required by Javelined policies.

You are responsible for ensuring that items are shipped accurately, securely, and within the stated handling time. Failure to fulfill orders in a timely or proper manner may result in delays in payouts, account restrictions, or other actions as outlined in our User Agreement .

You must provide valid shipping information and, where applicable, tracking details to enable buyers and Javelined to monitor the delivery status of the item.

7. Payment Limitations

All payments for transactions conducted on Javelined must be completed exclusively through the official Payment Services provided on the platform. Any attempt to complete transactions outside of Javelined, including but not limited to direct payments, cash transactions, bank transfers, or sharing contact information for the purpose of bypassing the platform, is strictly prohibited.

Users (including both buyers and sellers) are not permitted to exchange contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, or any other communication methods with the intent of completing transactions outside the platform.

Javelined reserves the right to monitor, detect, and investigate any attempts to circumvent its Payment Services. If we determine, at our sole discretion, that a transaction has been conducted or attempted outside the platform in violation of these Terms, we may take appropriate actions, including but not limited to:

  • Suspension or termination of user accounts
  • Cancellation of transactions
  • Withholding or forfeiture of funds associated with such transactions
  • Limiting access to platform features
  • Taking legal action where applicable

You acknowledge and agree that any attempt to bypass the platform’s payment system constitutes a material breach of these Payments Terms and the Terms of Use .

Javelined shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from transactions conducted outside of the platform, and such transactions will not be eligible for any protection, support, or dispute resolution services provided by Javelined.

8. Using Payment Services

Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

If a buyer is entitled to a refund due to a return, cancellation, non-delivery, defective product, or an item not as described, whether based on an agreement between you and the buyer or in accordance with Javelined policies (including the Return and Refund Policy), you authorize Javelined to process and issue the corresponding refund amount to the buyer on your behalf.

You acknowledge and agree that you are legally obligated to accept valid returns and provide refunds where required by applicable laws or platform policies.

Refund amounts may be deducted from your available balance, pending payouts, reserves, or future settlements.

Holding of Funds and Escrow

All payments made by buyers are received and held by Javelined or its authorized payment partners on behalf of the seller in a safeguarded escrow-like arrangement.

Funds will only be released to the seller after:

  • Confirmation of successful delivery
  • Expiration of the applicable return or dispute period
  • Resolution of any pending disputes, claims, or investigations

Javelined reserves the right to delay or withhold payouts where necessary to manage risk, prevent fraud, or comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Buyer Protection Programs

Javelined may offer buyer protection programs to ensure that buyers receive the items they ordered or receive a refund (“Buyer Protection”).

If a buyer successfully files a claim under such program, Javelined may reimburse the buyer on your behalf in accordance with applicable policies.

You agree to reimburse Javelined for any such amounts unless protected under applicable seller protection conditions.

Disputes and Chargebacks

A buyer or the payment provider may initiate a chargeback, reversal, or payment dispute (collectively, “Dispute”) in connection with a transaction. The final decision in such cases is typically made by the buyer’s financial institution or payment provider.

Javelined may facilitate the dispute process but does not control the final outcome.

  • You will be notified when a Dispute is opened
  • You may choose to accept or contest the Dispute
  • If contested, you must provide evidence within the required timeframe
  • Javelined may submit such evidence to the relevant payment provider on your behalf

Failure to provide requested information in a timely manner may result in an unfavorable outcome, including full loss of the disputed amount.

If the Dispute is decided in favor of the buyer, the amount will be refunded and charged to your account. You agree to reimburse Javelined for such amounts, including any related fees or penalties.

Seller Protection

Javelined may provide seller protection in limited circumstances. To qualify, you must comply with all platform requirements, including:

  • Providing valid proof of shipment and delivery
  • Accurate product descriptions and listings
  • Compliance with all platform policies and applicable laws

Seller protection eligibility is determined at Javelined’s sole discretion and may not apply in cases involving fraud, misrepresentation, policy violations, or high-risk transactions.

Seller Responsibility and Liability

By registering as a seller on Javelined, you acknowledge and agree that you bear full legal responsibility for all products, listings, transactions, and obligations arising from your activities on the platform.

You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights, including consumer protection, product safety, taxation, and intellectual property laws.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Javelined from any claims, disputes, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your activities, products, or violations of these Terms.

Platform Role and Non-Intervention

Javelined operates solely as an intermediary marketplace platform and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.

Except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated in platform policies, Javelined does not assume responsibility for disputes, claims, or legal obligations arising between sellers, buyers, or third parties.

Javelined does not provide legal representation and does not intervene in external legal claims or disputes initiated against sellers.

Risk-Based Controls

Javelined applies risk-based monitoring and controls to detect fraud, abuse, and suspicious activity.

Based on risk assessments, Javelined may:

  • Limit transaction volumes
  • Require additional verification
  • Delay settlements or payouts
  • Apply holds, reserves, or account restrictions

Financial Recovery Rights

You agree that Javelined may recover any amounts owed by you, including refunds, chargebacks, fees, penalties, or losses, by:

  • Debiting your available balance
  • Offsetting against pending or future payouts
  • Charging your linked financial accounts where permitted by law

You remain liable for any outstanding amounts even after account suspension or termination.

Fines, Penalties and Losses

You must ensure that all items listed comply with applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies, including the Acceptable Use Policy.

You agree to indemnify and reimburse Javelined for any losses, damages, chargebacks, claims, fees, penalties, or expenses arising from:

  • (a) your violation of these Terms or platform policies
  • (b) your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
  • (c) any transaction processed on your behalf, including product-related disputes

Holds and Reserves

Javelined reserves the right to place holds on your funds or require reserves where necessary to manage risk, ensure compliance, or investigate potential issues.

  • Unverified identity information
  • High dispute or refund rates
  • Suspicious activity or fraud risk
  • High-risk product categories
  • Regulatory or compliance requirements

Reserves may include rolling reserves or minimum balance requirements, determined based on transaction volume, dispute rates, and seller history.

Funds will be released once the associated risk is resolved.

9. Payment Methods

Buyers may pay for items on Javelined using various payment methods. The availability of these methods may vary depending on the buyer’s location and the nature of the transaction.

Supported payment methods may include, but are not limited to:

  • Credit and debit cards (such as Visa, Mastercard, and other card networks)
  • Digital wallets (such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and similar services)
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfers or direct debit (where available)
  • Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) or installment-based payment methods
  • Any other local or international payment methods supported by Javelined

Javelined may add, remove, or modify available payment methods at its sole discretion to support global transactions.

Specific Payment Methods

In certain regions, buyers may access installment payments, deferred payments, or invoice-based options through integrated third-party payment partners.

Payment processing may involve multiple entities, including payment processors, acquiring institutions, and financial partners.

Assignment of Payment Claims

In transactions using specific payment methods, your right to receive payment may be transferred to one or more payment service providers or financial partners.

Such transfer occurs automatically upon completion of the transaction and is necessary to enable the selected payment method.

Third-Party Terms

Buyers using these methods may be subject to additional terms imposed by the relevant payment partners.

Seller Responsibilities

You remain fully responsible for fulfilling your obligations under the transaction, including shipping and delivery, regardless of the payment method used.

If a transaction is refunded, disputed, or reversed, any assigned payment rights may be reassigned, and you agree to repay any amounts received in connection with such transaction.

10. Security & Data Protection

Javelined takes the security and privacy of your personal data seriously. We implement appropriate technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Personal data collected through your account, transactions, or interactions on the platform is processed and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) , where applicable.

We work with trusted third-party service providers, including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and logistics partners, to ensure secure processing and handling of personal and transactional data. All such partners are contractually obligated to comply with applicable data protection laws and security standards.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should notify Javelined immediately if unauthorized access is suspected.

User Rights

Where applicable under data protection laws, including the GDPR, users have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of their personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), appropriate safeguards will be implemented in accordance with applicable laws, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with applicable laws, including the ePrivacy Directive . Users are provided with clear choices regarding the use of non-essential cookies.

Global Compliance

Javelined operates globally and aims to comply with applicable data protection laws in the jurisdictions in which it operates. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform complies with local laws applicable to them.

11. Fees Collection

You authorize us to collect from you any amounts you owe us, our Affiliates, or third parties who, as separately authorized by you, provide services to you in connection with your use of the Javelined platform (such as payment providers or shipping carriers), under these Payments Terms of Use, the User Agreement, any other service contract, policy, agreement or as required by law (referred to as “Owed Amounts”). Owed Amounts typically include the following:

  • Fees;
  • Amounts as described in “Returns and Cancellations; Refunds”, “Disputes” or “Fines, Penalties and Losses” in Section 8 above;
  • Amounts you owe under applicable buyer protection policies;
  • Taxes or other charges related to your use of our or our Affiliates' services, if applicable and required by law; and
  • Amounts we incorrectly settled to you due to a payment processing error or otherwise.

For clarity, your authorization permits us to collect amounts which you already owe to us, our Affiliates or third parties as described above. This authorization does not establish any new claims for payment against you. In some cases, our Affiliates may assign a claim against you for payment of Owed Amounts payable by you to us.

Collection of the Owed Amounts may be carried out on a one-time, sporadic, or recurring basis by the following means:

  • Retaining such amounts from your current or future disbursements relating to any transactions that you may have on Javelined;
  • Recouping from your Linked Financial Account (including direct debit where applicable);
  • Recouping from any other payment instrument or payment method you may have authorized or placed on file with us or our Affiliates;
  • Recouping from your stored value account, if applicable;
  • Recouping from your payment account, if applicable; and
  • Using collection agencies or other collection methods if necessary.

You authorize us to choose the method of collection among those listed above. We generally deduct Owed Amounts from your current or future disbursements we process on your behalf. If your available funds are not sufficient to cover these amounts, we may charge your Linked Financial Account or another payment method on file.

You also authorize any Affiliate providing services to you to charge Owed Amounts on our behalf from any payment method you have on file with such Affiliate.

If our attempt to recoup an Owed Amount from a payment method you have authorized fails as a result of your acts or omissions, we may charge you for the failed attempt as set forth on the applicable fee page.

12. Amendments

We may amend these Payments Terms of Use by notifying you of the changes in writing (for example, by posting a revised version on the Javelined platform).

Unless otherwise required by law, we will provide reasonable notice prior to the effective date of such changes.

Your continued use of the Payment Services after the effective date of the changes will constitute your acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree to the proposed changes, you may terminate these Payments Terms of Use in accordance with the termination section, without additional cost, before the effective date.

We will always publish the most current version of the Payments Terms of Use on the Javelined platform.

13. Term & Termination

These Payments Terms of Use are effective indefinitely, unless terminated in accordance with the below.

We may terminate these Payments Terms of Use by giving written notice at least fourteen (14) days prior via email to your registered email address. However, we may also terminate these Payments Terms of Use on less notice or with immediate effect in the following scenarios:

  • We are required to do so by law or a court order;
  • A governmental authority requires us to do so to comply with anti-money laundering or counter-terrorism financing obligations;
  • We have reasonable grounds to believe you are carrying out a prohibited or illegal activity (including, but not limited to, fraud, bribery, corruption, money laundering, or sanctions violations);
  • We are unable to verify your identity, your business information, or any other information provided by you; or
  • You are otherwise in breach of a material obligation under these Payments Terms of Use or repeatedly violate these terms.

You may terminate these Payments Terms of Use at any time by closing your Javelined account. If you continue to use the Payment Services after termination, you will be deemed to have accepted these Payments Terms of Use again.

Your use of the Javelined platform as a seller requires continued use of Payment Services. If you terminate this agreement, you may no longer be able to sell or receive payments through the platform.

Termination of this agreement shall not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to termination, including your obligation to pay any amounts owed to us and our right to collect such amounts.

If there are pending transactions at the time of termination, they will be processed in accordance with these Payments Terms of Use unless otherwise required by law.

As of the effective date of termination, you will no longer be able to sell items or receive payments on Javelined.

14. Assignment

In our reasonable discretion, Javelined may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Payments Terms of Use to an affiliate or third party, and we will notify you accordingly where required by applicable law.

II. Additional Terms for Payment Services Provided by Javelined

In addition to the General Payments Terms above, the following provisions apply with respect to Payment Services provided through Javelined and its integrated payment partners. Within this section, “we” or “us” refers to Javelined.

As between you and Javelined, these Payments Terms of Use incorporate by reference the provisions of the User Agreement to the extent applicable. In the event of any conflict between the User Agreement and these Payments Terms of Use, these Payments Terms of Use shall govern.

We may change, suspend, enhance, or modify features of the Payment Services where reasonably necessary.

1. Appointment of Javelined as Agent

Javelined will receive payments on your behalf as your agent. You hereby appoint Javelined as your agent for the limited purpose of receiving, holding, and settling payments for transactions conducted on the platform.

A payment received by us from a buyer on your behalf satisfies the buyer’s obligation to you in the amount of the payment received. In the event we do not make a payment to you due to error, technical issues, or other valid reasons, your recourse shall be against Javelined in accordance with applicable law.

2. Receipt and Settlement of Funds

After a transaction occurs, you will receive a notification confirming such payment. In certain instances, your transaction may be declined, frozen, or held for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, high-risk activity, or potential violation of applicable laws, regulations, or platform policies.

Funds received on your behalf represent a contractual claim against Javelined and do not constitute deposits. Payment services are provided in cooperation with regulated third-party payment service providers in accordance with applicable laws, including the Payment Services Directive (PSD2) .

Funds may be held in pooled accounts together with the funds of other users. You will not have an ownership interest in any investments made with such funds, and any interest earned may be retained by Javelined or its payment partners where permitted by law.

Unless subject to a hold, proceeds from your sales will generally become available for payout within one to two business days after confirmation of the buyer’s payment. Once available, proceeds will be aggregated and transferred to your Linked Financial Account according to your selected payout schedule. Settlement timing may vary depending on payment methods, processing times, and compliance requirements.

3. Authorization to Collect Owed Amounts

You authorize Javelined to debit or charge any owed amount from your Linked Financial Account or any other payment method on file, where legally permitted. This authorization remains in effect until revoked in writing or upon closure of your account.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby assign to Javelined any rights to receivables, payments, and other accounts owed to you for the purpose of satisfying your obligations under these Payments Terms of Use.

4. Legal Disputes

Any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these Payments Terms of Use, your use of Payment Services, or any related transactions shall be resolved in accordance with this Legal Disputes section.

A. Applicable Law

Except to the extent inconsistent with mandatory law, these Payments Terms shall be governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws of the user’s country of residence shall remain unaffected.

B. Dispute Resolution

Where legally permitted, Arbitration applies only where legally permitted and does not restrict consumer rights to access courts.

Arbitration Procedures

If arbitration is used, it will be conducted by a recognized arbitration provider under its applicable rules. The arbitrator shall apply these Payments Terms of Use as a court would. Arbitration decisions are final and binding, subject to applicable law.

Costs of Arbitration

Filing, administration, and arbitrator fees will be governed by the arbitration provider’s rules, subject to cost-sharing or fee waivers as required by law.

Severability

If any provision of this section is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

C. Judicial Forum

If arbitration does not apply, you agree that disputes may be brought before the competent courts in Germany, without limiting any mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

15. Marketplace Role

Javelined operates as a marketplace platform facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers. We act solely as an intermediary and do not assume responsibility for the products sold by sellers, the quality of the goods, or the fulfillment of the sales contract. Our role includes providing the platform infrastructure, operational support, and dispute resolution tools.

While we may take actions against users or sellers for policy violations, we are not liable for the performance of the transaction or any disputes arising directly from the sale of products.

Sellers bear full responsibility for product compliance, delivery, warranties, and any legal claims arising from the transaction.

16. Disputes & Chargebacks

This section governs disputes, chargebacks, and payment reversals related to transactions conducted on Javelined.

16.1 Disputes Between Buyers and Sellers

Buyers and sellers are encouraged to resolve disputes directly through the platform whenever possible. In cases where a dispute arises regarding a transaction (including non-delivery, defective items, or items not as described), users may initiate a dispute through their account dashboard.

Javelined may, at its sole discretion, assist in resolving disputes by reviewing relevant information such as order details, communication records, tracking information, and any supporting evidence provided by both parties.

Any decision made by Javelined in relation to dispute resolution shall be final to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16.2 Chargebacks and Payment Reversals

A chargeback occurs when a buyer disputes a transaction directly with their payment provider (such as a bank or credit card issuer), resulting in a reversal of funds.

If a chargeback is initiated, you agree to cooperate with Javelined and provide any requested documentation to support the validity of the transaction, including proof of delivery, product descriptions, and communication with the buyer.

Javelined reserves the right to recover any amounts associated with chargebacks, including the original transaction amount, fees, penalties, administrative costs, including chargeback fees imposed by payment providers, in accordance with Section 11 (Fees Collection) .

16.3 Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders accurately, providing valid tracking information, and maintaining clear communication with buyers. Failure to comply with these obligations may increase the likelihood of disputes or chargebacks.

Sellers must retain transaction records and proof of delivery for a reasonable period of time in order to respond to potential disputes or chargebacks.

16.4 Investigation and Risk Measures

Javelined may investigate any dispute, chargeback, or suspicious activity and may take appropriate action, including placing holds on funds, limiting account functionality, or suspending accounts where necessary to mitigate risk or comply with legal obligations.

Funds related to disputed transactions may be temporarily held until the dispute is resolved, in accordance with our Payout & Holding Policy .

16.5 Final Determination

The final outcome of a chargeback is determined by the relevant payment provider or financial institution. Javelined is not responsible for decisions made by third-party payment providers.

You acknowledge that repeated disputes or chargebacks may result in additional restrictions, fees, or termination of your account in accordance with these Payments Terms of Use.

17. Compliance & Legal

All users of Javelined must comply with applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where they operate. This section outlines the legal responsibilities of users and the platform.

17.1 User Compliance Obligations

Users must not use the platform for illegal purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Violating consumer protection, tax, or financial laws
  • Engaging in money laundering or terrorist financing activities
  • Infringing intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Uploading or distributing illegal or harmful content

Users are responsible for ensuring that their transactions, listings, and communications comply with all relevant local, national, and international laws.

17.2 Javelined’s Legal Rights

Javelined reserves the right to:

18.3 Order Fulfillment and Shipping

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders in a timely manner and ensuring that items are delivered as described. You must provide valid shipping and tracking information where applicable, in accordance with our Shipping policy.

Failure to fulfill orders properly may result in disputes, refunds, or account restrictions.

18.4 Pricing and Fees

Sellers are responsible for setting accurate prices for their products or services. All applicable fees, commissions, or charges will be applied in accordance with Seller Payment Fees and Fees Collection .

18.5 Returns, Refunds, and Disputes

Sellers must comply with applicable return and refund obligations and cooperate in resolving disputes with buyers in accordance with Disputes & Chargebacks and Dispute Resolution Policy .

18.6 Compliance and Legal Obligations

Sellers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including consumer protection, tax, and regulatory requirements (see Compliance & Legal and Tax & VAT Policy ).

18.7 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities conducted under your account. Unauthorized use must be reported immediately.

18.8 Enforcement and Actions

Javelined reserves the right to monitor seller activity and take appropriate action in case of violations, including listing removal, fund holds, account suspension, or termination.

Repeated violations or serious breaches may result in permanent removal from the platform.

19. Payout & Holding Policy

This section sets out the rules and procedures for payouts of funds to sellers and the temporary holding of funds in connection with transactions on Javelined. All sellers must comply with these policies in addition to the general Seller Terms and Payment Terms.

19.1 Payout Scheduling

Sellers may select a payout schedule during account setup or update it via their account dashboard. Available payout schedules may include daily, weekly, or monthly options. Javelined reserves the right to modify payout schedules based on account status, risk, or operational requirements.

19.2 Receipt of Funds

Payments received from buyers are initially held by Javelined or its authorized payment partners. Funds are considered received once they are cleared and credited to your seller account, even if not yet transferred to your linked financial account.

19.3 Holds and Risk Management

Javelined may place temporary holds on funds in certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

19.4 Payout Processing

Once funds are available for payout, they will be transferred to your linked financial account in accordance with your selected schedule. Payouts are subject to processing times of banks or financial institutions and may vary by payment method.

Javelined is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party payment processors.

19.5 Currency and Conversion

Payouts are made in the currency selected by the seller at account setup. Conversion from buyer currency to seller currency, if required, will be conducted at prevailing exchange rates determined by Javelined or its payment partners.

19.6 Taxes and Withholding

Sellers are responsible for all applicable taxes, including VAT, income tax, and other levies, as described in Tax & VAT Policy . Javelined may withhold amounts from payouts as required by law or regulation.

19.7 Errors and Adjustments

If a payout error occurs, including overpayment, underpayment, or duplicate payment, Javelined may adjust subsequent payouts or debit the relevant amount from your account, in accordance with Fees Collection .

19.8 Recordkeeping

Sellers may access transaction and payout history through their account dashboard. It is the seller’s responsibility to maintain accurate records for reporting, accounting, and tax purposes.

19.9 Modifications

Javelined reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue payout schedules or holding policies at any time. Material changes will be communicated to sellers via email or account notifications.

20. Dispute Resolution Policy

This section outlines the procedures for resolving disputes between users and sellers, and between buyers and sellers, on Javelined. All users agree to follow these procedures in addition to the general Terms of Use.

20.1 Initial Resolution Through Customer Support

Users are encouraged to first attempt to resolve disputes by contacting Javelined Customer Support. You may submit complaints, inquiries, or claims via your account dashboard or our contact channels.

Our team will provide guidance and mediation to help resolve the issue fairly. Users must provide complete and accurate information, including order details, communication history, and supporting documentation.

20.2 Escalation to Formal Dispute

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, users may escalate the matter to a formal dispute. This includes providing written notice to Javelined or the relevant seller with a clear description of the issue, the claim amount, and supporting evidence.

20.3 Mediation and Arbitration

20.4 Buyer-Seller Disputes

Buyers and sellers are responsible for resolving disputes over products, payments, and delivery. Javelined acts as a neutral facilitator and may hold funds in accordance with Payout & Holding Policy ) until the dispute is resolved.

21. Anti-Fraud & Abuse Policy

Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in any fraudulent, abusive, or manipulative behavior on the platform. Examples include, but are not limited to:

Where legally permitted, Javelined may collect and remit taxes on behalf of sellers or buyers. Collected taxes will be applied according to applicable laws and reflected in invoices, receipts, or payout summaries.

22.4 VAT and Cross-Border Transactions

All content, trademarks, logos, designs, graphics, text, images, software, and other materials displayed on or through Javelined (collectively, "Intellectual Property") are owned by or licensed to Javelined and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade dress laws.

25.1 Ownership and License

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Javelined content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and for transactions on the platform. No other use of the Intellectual Property is permitted without express written consent from Javelined or the respective rights holder.

25.2 User-Generated Content

By posting or submitting content to Javelined, including reviews, images, videos, and other materials ("User Content"), you grant Javelined a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works, display, and perform such content in connection with the platform and its promotion.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

25.3 Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works of Intellectual Property without authorization
  • Use Intellectual Property for commercial purposes outside the platform without written consent
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Infringe or violate the intellectual property rights of Javelined or third parties

  • Provide truthful and accurate information in all transactions

Javelined reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at its sole discretion in cases including, but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Payments Terms of Use or platform policies
  • Failure to complete required identity verification (Identity Verification (KYC) )
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

26.5 Account Termination

You may request to close your account at any time by contacting Customer Support . Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked, but certain obligations (such as outstanding payments or legal responsibilities) may continue to apply.

26.6 Data and Privacy

All personal data associated with your account is handled in accordance with our Security & Data Protection policy. You acknowledge that certain data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or operational purposes even after account closure.

26.7 Limitation of Liability

Javelined is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account where such access results from your failure to maintain the confidentiality and security of your credentials.

By creating and using an account on Javelined, you agree to comply with these responsibilities and acknowledge that failure to do so may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

27. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Javelined AND ITS AFFILIATES, PARTNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, PAYMENT SERVICES, OR ANY TRANSACTIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF Javelined HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

27.1 Direct Liability

LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE SPECIFIC TRANSACTION OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. DIRECT DAMAGES DO NOT INCLUDE LOST PROFITS OR INDIRECT LOSSES.

27.2 Third-Party Services

Javelined IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS, OMISSIONS, OR PERFORMANCE OF THIRD-PARTY SELLERS, PAYMENT PROVIDERS, OR OTHER SERVICE PARTNERS. USERS ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR INTERACTIONS WITH THIRD PARTIES, AND ANY DISPUTES MUST BE RESOLVED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RELEVANT POLICIES OR AGREEMENTS.

27.3 Acceptance of Risk

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ALL TRANSACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES ON THE PLATFORM INVOLVE INHERENT RISKS, INCLUDING RISKS OF PAYMENT FAILURE, PRODUCT QUALITY ISSUES, OR DELIVERY PROBLEMS. YOU AGREE TO ASSUME THESE RISKS AND RELEASE Javelined FROM LIABILITY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

27.4 Exceptions

NOTHING IN THIS SECTION SHALL LIMIT LIABILITY TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION.

BY USING Javelined, YOU AGREE THAT THE LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS IN THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO YOU AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM, PAYMENT SERVICES, AND THIRD-PARTY INTERACTIONS.

 

This limitation does not apply where prohibited under applicable consumer protection laws, including mandatory rights granted to consumers under European Union law.

28. Force Majeure

Javelined shall not be liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in performing its obligations under these Terms of Use or Payment Services arising from causes beyond its reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to:

  • Acts of God, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, storms, or fire
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
  • Strikes, labor disputes, or industrial action
  • Pandemics, epidemics, or health emergencies
  • Telecommunications or internet failures, power outages, or technical system disruptions
  • Any event or circumstance reasonably beyond the control of Javelined

During the force majeure event, Javelined shall be excused from performing the affected obligations for the duration of the event, without liability for any resulting damages, losses, or costs incurred by users.

28.1 Notification

Where possible, Javelined will inform users of the occurrence of a force majeure event and the expected impact on services, including anticipated delays in processing, delivery, or payment settlement.

28.2 Resumption of Services

Once the force majeure event has ceased or is resolved, Javelined shall resume its obligations promptly, taking reasonable steps to minimize the impact on users and transactions.

28.3 No Liability

Users acknowledge and agree that they have no claim for damages or compensation against Javelined arising from any delay, failure, or interruption caused by a force majeure event.
